UK illustrator John Broadley’s new print collaboration with Penfold Press is, amazingly, his first venture into the world of print. The result, the first in an ongoing series looking at different traditional crafts, is a beautifully depicted image of lobster pots being woven on an imagined harbourside. With its influence of the School Prints evident in its trompe l'oeil border, the print is as considered, intricate and humorous as any of his fine body of work.
