Collection: Michael Kirkman

Having studied at Edinburgh College of Art, Michael Kirkman graduated from an MA course at the Royal College of Art in 2010. He now lives and works in London.

Michael has produced commissioned prints for the National Theatre, Faber and Faber and the Palace of Westminster (to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee). The York Art Gallery and Palace of Westminster hold work in their collection.

In 2019 he won the Design Award for ‘Best Patterned Fabric’  hosted by Somerset House, for his fabric ‘Eden’ made in collaboration with British fabric manufacturer ‘St Judes’
