Alice Pattullo was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1988. Alice studied Illustration at Brighton University where she was chosen as part of an exchange programme for a semester of study at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She went on to graduate with a First Class Honours in 2010.
Since graduating Alice has worked predominantly with screen print, producing limited edition prints which she exhibits and sells both across the country and internationally. Research is at the heart of her practice; Alice's use of sketchbooks helps her flesh out her ideas and explore elements of British folk tradition and superstition. Alongside this Alice is inspired by mid-century design and strives to create a nostalgic aesthetic in her work through colour choices and composition.
